AMACO V-318 Rose underglaze is a deep magenta color that is dark at 1050°C, becomes patchy at 1200°C, and burns out almost completely at 1300°C. A clear glaze applied over Rose accentuates the color at 1050°C, but at 1200°C and cone 10 (1300°C), there is no difference in color – whether glazed or unglazed.
