MAYCO UG-206 Fire Engine Red underglaze s fire to a matte finish at low temperatures if no transparent glaze is applied. To enhance the color’s intensity or to use the pieces for food, it is recommended to apply a clear glossy or matte glaze. At high temperatures, the color becomes richer. Recommended clear glaze: SW-001 Stoneware Clear-using this glaze makes the color richer.
