SW-230 PINK SPECK

When fired at Cone 6 (1220 degrees), Mayco SW-230 Pink Speck glaze is a semi-transparent, soft pink glaze with a satin-matte finish that highlights the texture of the piece. It contains small purple, orange, and yellow specks. The glaze is stable. Cone 10 (1300 degrees): The glaze becomes lighter in color. When applied thickly, the specks blend together and lose their vividness; crystallization may begin to form. It remains stable. TIPS: We recommend firing this glaze at Cone 6 to achieve the best satin-matte finish. When you open the package, the particles will be settled at the bottom, so be sure to stir or shake it well before each use to distribute them evenly.
