TIP: The base of this glaze is SW-250 White Opal. Upon opening, the crystals will be settled at the bottom, so shake or stir well before each use. Crystals can add mobility to the glaze, so avoid a heavy concentration near the bottom of your piece. When storing crystal glazes, you can flip the jar upside down to make them easier to loosen later. It is suitable for both oxidation and reduction firings. Results may vary depending on clay body selection, application thickness, and kiln atmosphere; testing is always recommended. Results in wood or soda firings may also vary.
