Amaco PC-45 Dark Green is a fluid, emerald glaze designed specifically to highlight the piece’s relief and texture. With its rich, jewel-like tone and glassy nature, this color brings luxury and classic depth to ceramics. It is an ideal choice for pieces with deep carvings, stamps, or texture, as the glaze masterfully plays with light, pooling in the recesses and breaking over the edges. Highlighting texture: The glaze beautifully accentuates all carved surfaces. To make the details stand out even more, it is recommended to apply a layer of High Fire Texturizer underneath. Fluidity: This is a fluid glaze, so when applied in a thicker coat, it flows beautifully down the walls of the piece. Layering: Dark Green layers beautifully with other Potter’s Choice glazes, imparting a deep, emerald-green hue and additional gloss to them. Tips: 1. Shake well before use. 2. For best results, do not dilute the glaze. 3. Apply 3 coats with a brush to the Cone 04 bisque. 4. Let each coat dry completely before applying the next one.
