Goerg & Schneider (G&S) 933 – a stone mass with a, plastic texture containing 20% fine chamotte (0-0. 2 mm) and basalt particles, which create specks when fired. Recommended firing temperature: 1000 °C – 1240 °C. Color: Ranges from russet to cork-brown with dark basalt specks. FEATURES AND USE: Shaping: This modeling clay is versatile-it’s perfect for both making rings and sculpting small objects, as well as constructing larger forms. Effect: The unique clay color and basalt specks create a very attractive, natural-looking combination. Effect of Temperature: The basalt specks and their pattern become particularly striking and vivid when fired at higher temperatures (approaching 1240 °C).
