€12.99
Goerg & Schneider (G&S) 591 is an exceptional stoneware clay body containing 25% fine grog (0–0.2 mm). Recommended firing temperature: 1000°C–1280°C. Color: Changes from lilac to beige.
PROPERTIES AND USAGE:
Forming: This plastic clay is highly versatile. It is excellent for hand-building smaller objects as well as throwing on the wheel. Thanks to its properties while throwing, it is particularly well-suited for larger-scale pieces.
Play of Colors: The greatest distinction of this body is its attractive color shift. As the firing temperature rises, playful tones gradually develop and unfold on the surface – ranging from lilac shades to a warm sandy yellow.
