G&S 1100 CLAY
€19.39
Goerg & Schneider (G&S) 1100 is an exceptionally light-firing, porcelain-like ungrogged stoneware body. Recommended firing temperature: 1200°C–1280°C. Color: The fired body is almost as white as porcelain, but it is not translucent.
PROPERTIES AND USAGE:
Forming: Excellent for throwing on the wheel.
Compatibility: This material can be easily combined and mixed with the “Casting Body 1100” casting slip.
Glazing: Due to the clay’s exceptionally light color, transparent glazes applied to it become much brighter and more vibrant.
IMPORTANT: AMACO Potter’s Choice glazes are not compatible with this clay.
