BOTZ 9881 Deep Blue Stoneware Glaze — Notes & Application Tips:

• • Glossy, deep blue stoneware glaze with light effects; beautiful light running effects can be achieved by applying a thicker coat locally.
  • Apply 2–3 coats (3 coats recommended, does not run; when firing at 1280°C, apply only 2 coats at the bottom of the piece!).
  • Firing temperature range: 1220–1280°C, soak time: 30 min.
  • At 1220°C: a beautiful blue color with fine effects.
  • At 1250°C: bright blue with light effects; greenish base tone when applied thinly.
  • At 1280°C: the effects develop exceptionally beautifully at this temperature; when applied in a very thin layer and along the edges, a green base comes through.
