BOTZ 9880 Pacific Stoneware Glaze — Notes & Application Tips:

• • Glossy, greenish-blue stoneware effect glaze; the play of colors ranges from a beautiful sea green to an intense light blue.
  • When applied in a thinner coat – greener; the thicker the layer, the more pronounced the blue shade becomes; applying a thicker coat locally creates very beautiful blue running effects.
  • Apply 2–3 coats (3 coats preferred; when firing at 1280°C, apply only 2 coats at the bottom of the piece!).
  • Firing temperature range: 1220–1280°C, soak time: 30 min.
  • Best results develop from 1250°C upwards.
  • When fired at 1220°C: more of a silky gloss (semi-matte).
