Mayco CG-987 Tree Frog is a transparent, bright green glaze with green, blue, and white crystals. Mayco Jungle Gems ceramic glazes are designed to be fired at 1050°C, but they can also be fired at higher temperatures. Shake the container well before use and stir the glaze frequently, as the crystals naturally settle at the bottom. When applying the final coat, you may need to redistribute the crystals to ensure an even effect. The placement of the crystals determines where they will “bloom” during firing.
