CG-974 BLOOMIN BLUE

Mayco CG-974 Bloomin’ Blue is a transparent blue glaze with large white crystals that melt and bloom, as well as small blue speckles. Mayco Jungle Gems ceramic glazes are designed to be fired at 1050°C, but they can also be fired at higher temperatures. Application instructions: For best results, apply two or three even coats to bisque-fired ware using a flat brush, allowing each coat to dry before applying the next. Shake the container well before use and stir the glaze frequently, as the crystals naturally settle at the bottom. When applying the final coat, you may need to redistribute the crystals to ensure an even effect. The placement of the crystals determines where they will “bloom” during firing.
