Mayco SW-508 Black Gloss is a highly pigmented, true black glossy glaze. Thanks to its stable properties, it is ideal for detailed design work and for achieving a complete, opaque surface glaze at a firing temperature of Cone 6 (1220 degrees). When fired at Cone 5, the glaze takes on a silky sheen, and when fired at Cone 6, it becomes exceptionally glossy. Cone 10 (±1300 degrees) reduction: Bluish hues become visible on the surface.
