Tips / Application

• Application on stoneware glazes: BOTZ Plus expressively enhances effects on stoneware glazes, adding extra depth and brilliance to ceramics. Apply unevenly over unfired stoneware glaze and fire at 1250°C (with a 30-minute soak at peak temperature).
  Caution: glaze may run!
• Applied on its own at high temperatures, it creates a striking, glossy glaze with bluish crystalline effects.
• When applied pure onto stoneware clay but fired at 1050°C, it creates a genuine crackle glaze with a beautiful silky surface. The crackles can be accentuated after firing, for example, with ink.
• Application on earthenware glazes: BOTZ Plus also enhances effects on earthenware glazes.
